So,....we've started a small group of "hardy" painters to work in the elements which are relative to where we live.  So far, we've encountered slippery wet red clay, managed to plow through rain filled pot holes on clay roads to reach our destinations in the peach orchards of SC, fought off ticks and poison ivy and high winds.  What I've learned so far,.....to practice the 3 D's, DESIRE, DETERMINATION, DISCIPLINE.

We are the Plein Aire Painters of Aiken and this is my first completed plain air painting.
